Register Now for 12th Annual Day of Caring

Volunteers are needed to help with more than 100 projects for Livingston County United Way's Day of Caring on August 21.

Preparing for the 12th Annual United Way Day of Caring, the Livingston County United Way is encouraging groups and individuals to register for the single day effort that looks to "recognize the passion, expertise and resources committed people bring every day to build a better life for all."

On August 21, volunteers from across the county will have the opportunity to roll up their sleeves and help in several different ways such as feeding the hungry, assisting at-risk youth at local shelters or even helping local non-profit organizations better serve local families.

This year, according to a press release from the United Way, Citizens Insurance Company is offering all high school clubs and organizations who get involved a chance to receive a $500 grant for their group based on percent of participation, effort and impact.
