St. Patrick's Day Events in Southeast Michigan

Looking for a way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Metro Detroit? We've got parades, Irish dinners, and, of course, where to find green beer.

We combed our Patches for some great St. Patrick's Day events to put together this list of holiday happenings all over Southeast Michigan. Get out and have some festive fun!

Livingston County

Brighton: Stout 10 Year Anniversary St. Patrick's Day Party 
Description:
On St. Patrick’s Day, Stout will be open at 7 a.m. serving breakfast, and the patio and outside bar will be open at 11 a.m. Festivities include Irish dancers, bagpipers, live music from 8:30 a.m. until 10 p.m., and a DJ and dancing from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. There will be no cover all weekend, including St. Patrick’s Day. 
When: Sunday, March 17, 7 a.m.

Brighton: The Biggest St. Patty's Day Bash
Description:
The Pound! Bar & Grill will celebrate St. Patrick's Day inside, outside in a tent and on the rooftop. Green beer ($3) and drink specials all day. Corned beef sliders, $1.99, 1/2 pound Reuben, $8.99. Your favorite DJs inside: DJ Tom Keeling 3-8 p.m., DJ Mark-E 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Live entertainment outside in the tent: The Duney Brothers 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., The Laurie Johnson Project 4-8 p.m.

Hartland: O'Malley's Irish Pub St. Patrick's Day Weekend
Description: St. Patrick's Day Weekend at O'Malleys. March 15th live music by Dragon Wagon. March 16th live music from Brent and Jeremy. St Pactick's Day March 17th, open for breakfast at 8 a.m. Live music starting at 10a.m. No reservations and no one under 21 on St. Patrick's Day.

Dearborn St. Paddy's Parade Day Party
Description: This event features an Irish coffee bar, corned beef and cabbage dinners, plus a performance from the O'Hare's School of Dance. Family-friendly!

Highland: St. Patrick's Day at The Comeback The Greenest Place In Town
Description:
 Come enjoy the "Craic" at Ye Olde Comeback Inn as we celebrate with great Irish cuisine, singing, dancing and a "Wee Bit O' Drinking." D.J. Freckles O' Gold, The Kilted Magician will perform from 6 p.m.- 9 p.m.

Description:

Royal Oak St. Patrick's Day Parade
Description: This annual parade honors and celebrates Irish family traditions, pride and heritage. It draws about 2,000 people each year.
When: Saturday, March 16, 11:30 am
Where: Starts at Royal Oak Middle School, 709 N Washington Ave., and runs down Washtenaw Ave. into downtown Royal Oak.
Cost: FREE

Royal Oak Lucky Dash 5K Race
Description: For St. Patrick’s Day, how about a jig and a jog? Get your Irish on for the Lucky Dash 5K Race, which precedes the St. Patrick parade in downtown Royal Oak.
When: Saturday, March 16, 10:45 am
Where: Route will start near Woodward Ave. and I-696. For more information visit www.luckydash.com.
Cost: To register go to active.com. Registration fee is $32; 18 and under $17.
