Weekend Forecast: More Winter Weather On Its Way

Hartland and the rest of Metro Detroit hasn't seen the last of the snow for 2012.

If you're planning to do some outdoor activities over the next few days, like making a snowman or sledding, you're in luck.

According to theΒ National Weather Service, the weather in Hartland and Metro Detroit Thursday will likely be a flurried mix, with a temperature hovering around 32 degrees and winds at 15 mph. Thursday night, bundle up as we experience a chilly low of just 16 degrees.

Friday, we will see much of the same with a 60 percent chance for snow showers in the evening.

Saturday, however, the chance for snow weakens significantly as does the wind. By Sunday, we will see partly cloudy skies and temperatures holding steady at 30 degrees.

Looking ahead to Monday and New Year's Eve, we're in the clear (so far) with mostly cloudy skies and a high of 29 degrees.
