Year in Review: Winner of 'Favorite Student Related Story' on Patch

Hartland voted and the winner is...

This year on Hartland Patch, we met many interesting people with great stories to tell, but we wanted to hear from the readers of Hartland who they thought was the "most interesting."

After two weeks of voting, the results are in.

  • In third place, Hartland High School senior Avery Evenson and her road to the Olympics.
  • In second place, the 2012 Hartland girls lacrosse team and their journey to the championship game.

  • Jack Van Houten and his younger brother Kyle. For the second year in a row, Jack spent his summer biking across country to help raise money and awareness for the Jett Foundation in honor of his brother who has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
