Kettle concert fundraiser, HVCA holiday artist market opening set for Dec. 7

Simultaneously support local artists' one-of-a-kind gifts while enjoying The 
Kettle and Friends' holiday concert and sing-along.

The gallery opening of the fourth annual Festival of Trees Holiday Artist Market,  presented by HVCA’s The Art Shop, opens with a reception Friday, Dec. 7; it will start at 7 p.m. with the Kettle and Friends holiday concert running simultaneously at Huron Valley Council for the Arts, 205 W. Livingston Road in Highland. The market will be open until 9 p.m. and during regular gallery hours through Saturday, Dec. 21.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the concert. Tickets are $15; purchase them online at huronvalleyarts.org or in person at HVCA.

Guests will have the chance to enjoy wine and appetizers as well as the concert's holiday selections and get first crack at the holiday market's 
wares.

“We are excited to have more than 50 artists participate in this year's Festival of Trees Holiday Artist Market," said Leah Ohmer, HVCA executive director. “This fourth annual artist market has become a tradition for area residents to visit and shop for some of the region's most unique holiday gifts. With hundreds of items for sale, there is something for everyone willing to spend from $1 to $500. We are happy to be able to present a shopping experience that fits every shopping list's needs."

Gallery hours for Festival of Trees Holiday Artist Market take place from 
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. 
Saturdays.
