HCEC Dynamic Expressions Trivia, Dinner and Silent Auction Fundraiser

In June 2012, a group of Hartland Community Education’s Dynamic Expressions Dancers will be headed to the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. They will be joined by dancers from across the continent to dance in a parade down Main Street USA in the Magic Kingdom. The dancers will also be performing original choreography from our recital in Hollywood Studios.

On Friday, January 13, 2012, Dynamic Expressions will be hosting a Family Trivia Night and Silent Auction, with dinner, to raise funds to help pay for the trip. 100% of the proceeds from the event will go directly to help our dancers live out their dream! The event takes place at Ore Creek Middle School (3250 Hartland Road, Hartland, MI).

Come join us for a great night of fun! You can choose what activities work best for your family. Dinner, a wonderful buffet featuring pizza, salad, and breadsticks provided by Marco's Pizza and other great dishes from area families, will be served at 6:30pm, and costs just $5.00 per person.

The family-friendly trivia contest will begin at 7:00pm, and also costs $5.00 per person, with a generous cash prize to the highest scoring team. Teams will be a maximum of 8 members. Questions range from pop culture and history to sports and entertainment.

Even if you're not hungry or not a trivia buff, you may just drop by for the silent auction, which includes items donated from area businesses. The auction will be open throughout the night, but don’t wait too long because the bidding ends at 8:45 pm. Registration for the silent auction is free. A free supervised movie room and open gym will be available for child care. Donations will be accepted.

ABOUT DYNAMIC EXPRESSIONS: Dynamic Expressions is the Hartland Community Education dance program. Hosting students from ages 3 to adult, Dynamic Expressions has recreational classes for all skill levels in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, and hip-hop. Focusing on building confidence and having fun in a low pressure atmosphere, The program, directed by Hartland resident Teresa Dorough, hosts classes in the Hartland Educational Service Support Center (the old Hartland High School) Mondays thru Thursdays during the school year, culminating in a dance recital in May.
