As loan officer at the CEED (Center for Empowerment and Economic Development) Micro-loan program, Van Appledorn with share information about funding options for entrepreneurs that go beyond the walls of conventional banks.
CEED, the oldest micro lender in Michigan, is a nonprofit organization for entrepreneurs who face obstacles in obtaining traditional business loans business start-up or expansion projects. Funding decisions are not based exclusively on credit, and the organization works in partnership with traditional lenders.
