Dynamic Expressions Dancers Twirl, Give Fundraiser Reminder and Say 'Good Morning, Hartland!'

It's Friday the 13th and I hope you can avoid any bad luck today. Here are some tidbits of news and information that we hope you'll find useful or entertaining.

1. The weather

Look for snow showers and a high near 27 degrees and accumulations of about an inch, according to the National Weather Service. Winds will be out of the northwest between 11 and 20 miles per hour with gusts as high as 31 mph. Tonight, there will be a 30 percent chance of more now with a low of about 14 (Brrrrr) as winds slightly moderate to between 8 and 17 mph with gusts as high as 24.

On Saturday, it's expected to be mostly cloudy with a high near 23 and a west wind around 7 mph. Saturday night, the low will be about 15 with a soutwest wind of between 3 and 7 mph.

On Sunday, party sunny skies return with a high near 25. Sunday night, some clouds return with a low around 17.

3. Hartland man co-owns new sports bar now open in Brighton

Hartland resident Kyle Rowe who is an owner investor in The Pound! Bar & Grill in downtown Brighton says the new establishment will be "community-oriented," according to an article in the Livingston County Daily Press & Argus.

Rowe along with Kevin Montagano and Brian Mexico partnered , Brighton Patch reported.

4. Dinner to raise money for the Pregnancy Helpline

The Hartland Knights of Columbus Friday to raise money for the Pregnancy Helpline at .

The cost is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors and $4 for children under 12.
