The River Church Performs 'Twas the Night' in Hartland

Performances will take place in Hartland on Dec. 22, 23 and 24.

The River presents “Twas the Night,” which highlights Christmas traditions in a contemporary way. Through live performances of classic holiday tunes and a 1940’s style radio show, the audience can share in the nostalgic holiday spirit. There will also be an encouraging message, a story of traditions passed down through the generations and a candle lighting.

Christmas Experiences will take place at the Hartland Performing Arts Center, 9525 Highland Road, at the following times:

  • Dec. 22 at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
  • Dec. 23 at 3 p.m., 5 p.m., 7 p.m. (no children’s program at the 7 p.m. Adult Experience, but there is childcare for infants- 5yrs)
  • Dec. 24 at 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.

As for the little ones, the River offers one-of-a-kind Children’s Christmas Experiences: One BIG Story: River Christmas Experiences for River Rock (K-4th Grade). This Christmas, River Rock will be diving into the BIG Story of Jesus’ impact in the world and learning how we can make a BIG impact too. (No 7 PM experience, but there will be regular childcare).

Precious Pebbles Christmas (Infant-5yrs): Bring the tiny tots out for Christmas fun and games at Precious Pebbles! We will focus on the Manger Scene to learn that we celebrate the seasons because God gave us Jesus. We will have Precious Pebbles childcare for every Christmas Experience.

We are encouraging everyone to reserve a free ticket online for our Twas the Night Christmas Experiences (tickets are not needed for the childrens’ programs). A ticket is not necessary to attend but will help us to insure everyone has a seat.
