Growing Up

Hello!

My name is Jenna Lassila and I am a native of Hartland. (My maiden name is Jenna Kananen). I'm very pleased with the opportunity to start blogging for Patch.

This is my first time blogging for Patch, and I couldn't be more thrilled. I have a personal blog on blogger.com called Newlyweds where I record my daily news and share with my friends and family what I am up to. I got married on May 7 to my best friend David and we now live in Ohio. I converted my personal blog to record the entire planning process for the wedding. It was a great way to keep track of my engagement and I had a blast.

Now that the wedding is over and done with, I've changed my blog once again to being a newlywed. Aside from being newly married, I've also graduated from Eastern Michigan University, so I'm also looking to start my career. So many changes! It's been a wonderful ride. So my blogs on Patch will be comprised of being newly married and looking for a new job that I hope brings me back home.

I'm excited to share with you my progress and perhaps even helpful tips to finding jobs. I would love some opinions and advise from my blog followers, I'm open to any helpful suggestions! I can't wait to start my new journey in life and I want to share it with you.
