A Tasty Recipe for a Great Fundraiser!

Ingredients:1 Frozen Lake      1 State Police dive team  30 or so willing volunteers  100 plungers in outrageous costumes  a generous portion of free starbucks coffee,bagels,cookies and treats   good music      face painting   hotdog cart    t-shirt sales   prizes    1 Golden toilet plunger 

Directions:pre-chill the Lake behind Brighton High School to a perfect 28 degreeswhen ice hardens cut a big hole, and insert a state trooper in a dive suitFeed plungers tasty treats, parade them around the gym in their awesome costumes and give prizes to the craziest,coolest,youngest,best team,etc.Then have plungers jump into the lake! Remove plungers when they are fully frozen, about 3-4 seconds and place them immediately in a hot shower. Then dress them in a nice free t-shirt and send them to downtown Brighton to brag,show off,shop and dine, with special discounts at many local shops and eateries.This Recipe yields one very successful Polar Plunge, the major fund-raising event for Livingston County Special Olympics! Special Olympics provides year round sports training and competition for people with intellectual disabilities. Help prepare this recipe on Saturday 2/23, 1pm-4pm at Brighton High School.
