The Lady Pirates of Captain Bree (A family friendly musical comedy) at Motor City Theatre. When his crew jumps ship upon sighting the pirates in the distance, Captain Jennings is left with a makeshift crew of motley prisoners and Fergus, a sailor who can’t swim, to protect his wealthy (and haughty) passengers.

Southfield Lathrup Chargers Football Parent's Club Bowling Bash Fundraiser at Plum Hollow Lanes. Friday, March 21 at 10:00 pm (check in at 9:30 pm) Enjoy 2 games of bowling and help us raise funds for uniforms and equipment. $10.00 per person (rental shoes included)

Schoolcraft Family Fun Night at Century Bowl. Friday, March 21 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm Enjoy 2 hours of bowling, great music and shoe rental is included. $6.00 per person. A portion of the proceeds will be given back to the Schoolcraft PTA.

Secret Lives of Stars at Cranbrook Institute of Science. The specific characteristics of a star will determine what type of life it will lead, how long it might live and even the type of death it will die. We will witness the amazing variety of stars and peer into their secret lives.

Downriver Raiders Baseball Fundraiser at Woodhaven Lanes. Saturday, March 22 at 10:00 pm (Check in at 9:30 pm) Enjoy 2 hours of Bowling and Pizza and help us raise funds for Tournaments and Travel Expenses. Plus there will be 50/50s and basket raffles. $20.00 per person (rental shoes included)

ARC Poly Hockey Fundraiser at Woodhaven Lanes. Saturday, March 22 at 3:00 pm Enjoy 2 hours of bowling, 2 slices of pizza and pop and help us raise funds for the "Special Olympians" to go to tournaments. Plus 50/50 and basket raffles. $15.00 per person (includes rental shoes)

Wish Upon a Butterfly at Michigan Science Center. Walk among live butterflies in the Wish Upon a Butterfly exhibit while hundreds of butterflies flutter around. This experience also teaches a butterfly’s life cycles from caterpillar to adult.

Boy Scouts – Environmental Science Merit Badge Workshop at Michigan Science Center. Learn how living things respond to changes in their environments, determine the effects of an oil spill on land, find out which packing materials are biodegradable & participate in other activities in pursuit of the Environmental Science Merit Badge

Tinker. Hack. Invent. Saturdays at The Henry Ford - America's Greatest History Attraction. The Henry Ford celebrates American ingenuity, resourcefulness and innovation in 2013. Join us as we welcome crafters, hobbyists, tinkerers and makers to Henry Ford Museum every Saturday of each month. Learn their stories and how they make things.

One World, One Sky: Big Bird's Adventure at Cranbrook Institute of Science. Big Bird takes viewers on an exciting discovery of the Sun, Moon, and stars. They learn about the Big Dipper and the North Star and take an imaginary trip to the Moon where they learn that the Moon is a very different place from the Earth.

Saturday Series for Kids at Performance Network's Children's Theatre Network. Make theater a regular part of your children’s lives!

Maple Sugaring at Indian Springs Metropark. March is Maple Sugaring month! With Spring not too far off, the warm days and freezing nights encourage sap flow in maple trees. This is the ideal time to collect the sugary sap and boil it down into maple syrup.

FoolMoon Luminary Workshops at FestiFools. Every Sunday in March, the community is invited to come to Workantile to create a Moonagerie themed luminary for this year’s FoolMoon. Supplies are provided for a suggested donation of $10; artists will be there to help you create your luminary!

Cub Scouts – Science Pin Workshop at Michigan Science Center. Make a model of the solar system, build models of two atoms and two molecules, label a drawing or diagram of the bones of the human skeleton and participate in other activities in pursuit of the Science Pin. Grades 2-3
