Hartland Dancers Prepare for 'Trip of a Lifetime'

A fundraising event for Dynamic Expressions will take place in Hartland on Nov. 8 with proceeds going towards helping to send the dancers to Disney World.

Dancers from Hartland Community Education's dance program, Dynamic Expressions, are busy preparing for a trip of a lifetime.

This June, members of the local dance company will be traveling to Orlando, Florida for the chance to dance at Walt Disney World with other students from around the globe.

To help with fundraising efforts, Dynamic Expressions has planned a family fun evening that will take place on November 8 and will include dinner, trivia and silent auction.

All proceeds from the event will go to the dancers and their families to cover travel costs.

"The girls work very hard to make this a reality, putting in extra practice throughout the school year after their regular dance class has completed, to learn their Disney dances," a press release from Dynamic Expression stated. "They also are working hard to raise funds for the trip."

The local dance program first sent a group of dancers to Disney in 2012 and the experience was so "magical" many are looking to repeat the experience, according to the press release. As part of the "Dance The World" experience, the girls will have the opportunity to dance in a parade at the Magic Kingdom and will perform a second original dance number on stage at Hollywood Studios.
