Letter published in Liv. Press today, Oct 4th! "Reader responds to letter"

I was unable to add the credentials of the 3 other members of the Mission investigating the Gaza War, Dec 27, 2008 to Jan 18th, 2009.  I'm adding them here: "Professor Christine Chinkin, Professor of International Law at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Ms. Hina Jilani, Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, and Colonel Desmond Travers, a former Officer in Ireland’s Defence Forces and member of the Board of Directors of the Institute for International Criminal Investigations." The letter is linked below.

I have been very much interested in the 22 day assault on Gaza which killed over 300 Palestinian children and the use of white phosphorus bombs which burned the skins of some of those hit with those particular bombs.  When the bombing started on Dec 27th I tried to get coverage from our local paper and the national media and also tried to reach my members in Congress all to no avail. Congress was on Christmas vacation and transitioning to a new administration (I think the timing on the part of the Israelis was diabolical).  The western press was barred from Gaza, the Israeli military were the news spokespersons. I do not think that many Americans even know about this 22 day war nor about the Goldstone Report which was ordered by the UN to investigate the war crimes committed by both sides in this conflict.  The report was suppressed in the U.S. and in our Congress which is why if you ask your neighbor about it, they won't have a clue.
