Please let Senator Joe Hune, R-MI 22nd District, 517-373-2420 know if you want him to vote for Medicaid Expansion legislation to cover health care for over 400,000 poor Michiganders. The Michigan House passed the legislation and the Senate has not. Hune doesn't want it passed for philosophical reasons, small government, if you as his constituent, want government expanded to give people access to quality health care, then ask him to represent your values and to vote "yes."
Please let President Obama know that you support both whistle blowers, Edward Snowden and PFC Bradley Manning. Both men are being persecuted for revealing secrets that our government shouldn't be keeping from its citizens. If we live in a country that sends our young men and women to risk their lives for our value of freedom then we need to demonstrate that we value the freedom of the press here at home. Snowden and Manning need to be honored not treated as traitors.
