Santa Day at the Hartland Area Fire Department
The Hartland Area Fire Department , made a special phone call to the North Pole shortly after the Fourth of July! We were lucky enough to reserve a day with the real Santa once again! This event will be in conjunction with Polar Express Day sponsored by the Cromaine Library and local Hartland Businesses.
Saturday, December 14th, 2013 just before Noon, Santa will fly in to a secret location. We will be taking food and water to Rudolph, and the rest of the reindeer, and bring Santa back to the main fire station located at 3205 Hartland Rd. in Hartland Township promptly at Noon. Santa will then greet the children, receive a key to Hartland Township, and begin taking photos with children.
The popular "Take a Number" system will be used to ensure a first come, first served opportunity. While families wait for their turn with Santa, there will be many activities to take part in. For those that have never attended Santa Day, we transform the fire station into a mini North Pole!

Activities include:
- Hartland Cub Scouts will be handing out Hot Chocolate and Coffee.
- Lowes Home Improvement Store of Howell will be offering free wooden kits for kids to build.
- Decorate your own cookie.
- A movie theater playing the Polar Express,
- The Hartland H.S. Choir will be singing,
- Letters to Santa, Sparky the Fire Dog, & of course photos with Santa!
Once again, we are only asking for a $5 DONATION for a photo with Santa or $10 for a flash drive full of all of the photos taken with Santa. However this year, we are collecting items for LACASA. If you bring in a donation for LACASA, we will take a $1 off your photos or Flash Drive! Its a win-win for everybody! Items needed are: Personal items such as personal hygiene, to diapers, to canned goods. Have diapers that your child grew out of? Bring in what you have left. Have some toothbrushes that you didn't use from your last visit to the dentist? Just bring in the un-opened toothbrush! It's that simple!
