Robert “Bob” L. Grodzicki 


Robert “Bob” L. Grodzicki “Gogie”, age 74, of Howell, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2013 at his home. He was born May 3, 1939 in Detroit, MI, son of the late Leo L. and Josephine (Mozden) Grodzicki. Beloved husband of Marilyn A. (Wasil) Grodzicki whom he married February 15, 1958 in Detroit. Dear father of Sherry (Leon) Pawlowski of Dearborn Heights and Bobby (Patty) Grodzicki of Howell, loving grandfather of Nicole and Michael Grodzicki of Howell; also loving sisters. Bob had been driving truck since he was 18 years old and retired from Holland Trucking in 2001. Timothy William Wilson

Timothy William Wilson, age 52 of Howell, passed away unexpectedly at his home Saturday, October 19, 2013. He was born August 1, 1961 in Pontiac, MI, the son of John E. and Carolyn E. (Gibson) Wilson. Beloved husband of Tricia J. (Barr) Wilson whom he married October 26, 1984 in Howell. Loving father of Cody, Luke and Paige Wilson, dear son of Carolyn (Dick Mundy) Wilson and brother of Dana (Terry) Gardner, Chris (Marty) Genei, Deb (Dave) Goodman, John (Deborah) Wilson, Robin (Steve) Maynard, Jerry (Cheryl) Wilson and Jim (Kim) Wilson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Tim was preceded in death by his father, John (2/8/1983) and brother, Thomas (2/8/1959). Tim graduated from Hartland High School in 1979 and attended Northwood University. He spent his entire career in the automotive industry and was the owner of Wilson Automotive. He thoroughly enjoyed life; the outdoors, fishing, hunting and biking and especially valued spending time with his wife, children, family and friends. Read full obituary here.

Mary E. Kieser of Brighton

Age 93, of Brighton passed away October 18, 2013. She was the youngest of 5 sisters born in Lockport, NY on July 18, 1920 and a daughter of Frank and Helen (Lord) Comeau. She married Joseph Keiser in Buffalo, NY on June 24, 1943 who preceded her in death on July 21, 1982. She was a member of the Lions Club of Howell, was very family oriented, and loved playing cards. Prior to her retirement in 1995, she had been employed by Sears.

Surviving are her children: Sue (Jeffrey) Bennett and Richard (Marlyn) Kieser; grandchildren: Stacey (Doug), Jeff (Melissa), Kelley, and Kyle; great grandchildren: Michael, Josh, Megan, Andrew, Joey, Allison, and Madison. She was preceded in death by her 4 sisters: Beatrice, Fran, Helen and Lois. Read full obituary here.

Betty (Elizabeth) L. Potvin of Brighton

Betty (Elizabeth) L. Potvin, age 90, of Brighton passed away October 14, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 16, 1923 the daughter of James and Edith (Bryant) Lillie. Betty married Charles Potvin in 1956 and he preceded her in death in 2006. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, bowling, reading, playing bingo and cards. She loved her dogs Maggie and Gracie. She took care of several children throughout the years.
Betty is survived by her children: Todd, Penny, Dell, David; grandchildren: Bonnie(Randy), Dennis(Anna), Tara(Scott), Edie(Derek), Leah(Travis); great grandchildren: Matthew, Jason(Carrie), Jenna(Brent), Amber(Bob), Brandon(Kristin), Drake, Dustin; great great grandchildren: Alexzander and Dominic. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael and her grandson, Shawn. Read full obituary here.

Darrell D. Bair of Brighton

Darrell D. Bair, age 80, of Brighton, MI, passed away on October 16, 2013. He was a devoted husband and father. Born on March 18, 1933, in Beckley, West Virginia, Darrell was the son of Frank and Cleo (Miller) Bair. On May 29, 1954, Darrell married his wife Joanne (Baker). During his life, Darrell served in the Army. He also was an engineer at A. M. General until he retired August of 1997. Darrell will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.  His Family…Darrell is survived by his wife. He is also survived by his son, Kurt of Fowlerville. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Frank, James, and Thomas; and sister, Sibyl Small.  Read full obituary here.
