Weekend Countdown: 'Birdie Day' Gathers Turkeys For Those In Need

When: Call for your tee time, which will be sometime Sunday, Nov. 20 at (248-887-3777); tee times are full. A benefit turkey dinner is planned from noon to 2:30 p.m. at the Majestic.

Cost: Golfers should bring either a frozen turkey that's 15 pounds or larger or $25. For those just coming for the benefit dinner, a suggested donation for dinner is $10. Proceeds will aid a local family in need.
Why go: Get that last golf game in before the Thanksgiving holiday and help others at the same time.
