Driver in Fatal Hartland Accident Sentenced to Prison

Treena Jean Beazley of Howell was sentenced Thursday to five years and 11 months to 15 years in prison for driving drunk and killing a man.

Treena Jean Beazley of Howell was sentenced Thursday to five years and 11 months, to 15 years in prison for driving drunk and causing an accident that resulted in the death of man earlier this year, according to an article in the Livingston Daily.

Beazley was reportedly driving a 1990 Jeep Wrangler and traveling west on Clyde Rd when she failed to stop for a stop sign and crashed her vehicle into a 2011 Dodge Caliber driven by 56-year-old Roger Miles of Fenton.

According to a press release, Beazley sustained a minor injury and was lodged in the Livingston County Jail for operating while intoxicated causing death.

Police say Miles was transported by Livingston County Ambulance to Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc where he was pronounced dead.
