Highland Township Man to Face Charges in Teen Sexual Assault Case

Livingston County Prosecutor authorizes charges against 40-year-old.

A warrant has been issued for a 40-year-old Highland Township man who has been accused of sexually assaulting two 13-year-old girls on Dunham Lake earlier this month, according to state police.

The man faces two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct after he allegedly touched one of the girl’s breasts and the other girl’s buttocks on a platform in the middle of the lake, said Trooper Jeff Frasier of the State Police post in Brighton.

Fraiser said the man began swimming out with a female companion near the two victims and three others at about 6:30 p.m. June 4 when the incidents ocurred. The teens did not know the man, he said.
