Police Searching for Quick Change Scam Suspect

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect related to a quick change scam involving two Howell businesses.

On July 15, police say a male, between the ages of 30 and 40 years old, scammed AJ's Mart and USA2GO out of $175. The suspect was seen wearing a black bandana or hat, black polo top and multi-colored shorts, according to a press release from the Livingston County Sheriff's Department.

A female suspect was seen exiting the same vehicle, a silver Chrysler PT Cruiser, as the male suspect, but police say played no part in the scam.

According to the report, there was also a third suspect driving the car, but the driver also had no part in the scam and no description was available.
