Police Searching for Third Person After Barricaded Situation in Wyandotte

Two arrested after situation related to robbery in Southgate, police say.

Police are searching for a third person after arresting a man and a woman in a barricaded situation this morning, according to WDIV-TV. They have not released a description.

Wyandotte police said the situation is related to a robbery in Southgate this morning. Officers report a man had a gun pulled on him, and $400 was stolen.

The robbery suspect then reportedly went to a relative's house in which was the site of the barricaded situation.

A man and a woman were arrested Tuesday morning after a SWAT team descended upon the barricaded house on Electric Street near Walnut in Wyandotte. Officers swarmed the house after alleged armed robbery suspects barricaded themselves inside, WXYZ-TV reports.

A man and a woman were observed surrendering to police without incident.

Check back later as more information is released.

Thanks to the Wyandotte PD and any other agencies that may have helped. Always be aware of your surroundings and move from point A to point B quickly. Bring a friend if possible. Hang tough Downriver.

I was wondering what the hell was going on. I kept hearing the helicopter over my house and when I drove down 10th Street and looked down Walnut I saw a SWAT team in the street and police cars everywhere. There also was a police car from Taylor parked on 10th Street. I got out of there real fast! This is supposed to be "sleepy little Wyandotte."
