Police Seek Suspect in Hartland Hit-And-Run

Police are asking for the public's help for any information regarding a hit-and-run that took place in Hartland on Saturday.

Police are searching for a driver of a sedan that is suspected of hitting a 40-year-old bicyclist in Hartland on Saturday.

Michigan State Police, Brighton Post said the woman was riding her bicycle around 6 a.m. along northbound Old U.S. 23 near Bergin Road, according to reports, and was believed to be hit by a 2001 or 2002 Chrysler Sebring or Dodge Stratus. 

The driver did not stop, according to a report from WHMI, and the car is believed to have some damage to the front passenger-side bumper.

The woman was treated at the University of Michigan Hospital and anyone with information is asked to call the Brighton Post at 810-227-1051.
