2 Sent to Hospital After Bike and Bus Crash on Old U.S. 23

Two victims have been transported to the University of Michigan hospital.

Rescue crews transported two people to the hospital after a crash occurred around 5 p.m. Monday on Old U.S. 23.

A pedestrian riding a bicycle and a LETS (Livingston Essential Transportation Service) bus collided, according to Hartland Fire Chief Adam Carroll.

The accident occured in front of the building and two victims, the bus driver and the bicyclist, have been transported to the University of Michigan for treatment.

Police did not know the condition of the victims or injuries sustained.

The accident is still under investigation.
