MDOT Cancels Highway Ramp Closure in Brighton Area
Thursday night shutdown from eastbound I-96 to southbound U.S. 23 called off.
A planned clousre of the ramp Thursday night from eastbound I-96 to southbound U.S. 23 has been cancelled when work on the Grand River Avenue bridge was completed ahead of schedule, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT).
But there are additional closures set next week Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for other bridge work in the area. A detour will be posted when the ramp is closed, an email from MDOT said.
