Michigan Association of Police Organizations Will Not Endorse Candidate in Prosecutor Race

The organization announced it will be endorsing Bob Bezotte for sheriff and Miriam Cavanaugh for probate judge for Livingston County.

The Michigan Association of Police Organizations announced on Thursday their endorsements for Livingston County.

In a press release, the state’s largest organization of certified law enforcement officers said they would be endorsing incumbent sheriff for Livingston County sheriff and for probate judge.

The organization, however, chose not to make an endorsement in the race for prosecutor, according to the press release.

“We chose not to endorse in the Prosecutor’s race but we are confident either or will protect the people of Livingston County,” the press release stated.

Earlier this week, Hartland and Brighton Patch with Henry where she indicated that the group endorsed her.
