Nightly Single-Lane Closures Continue on U.S. 23
Road work south of Brighton expected to last through the end of July.
Road work is forcing overnight single-lane closures in both directions on U.S. 23 between Silver Lake and Lee roads south of Brighton daily from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning, MDOT announced Thursday.
The work, which is needed before resurfacing and bridgework next year, is expected to occur seven days a week through the end of the month.
The evening closures follows weekend road work in the same area.
