On the Agenda: Home and Garden Club Holds Annual Tea; New Lease for Library Branch Mulled; Youth to be Recognized

A busy week before the Easter holidays in Hartland starts today. Here are some events you might want to keep in mind not even counting Friday, which is a holy day for many and also Earth Day:

  • 7 p.m. Tuesday the Hartland Township Board of Trustees will convene one of its twice monthly regular meetings at Township Hall, 2655 Clark Rd. The agenda includes adopting changes to the comprehensive plan.
  • 7 p.m. Wednesday the Hartland Home and Garden Club is holding its 6th annual tea that features Judith Coebly, who will present lecture on Women Civil War patriots in disguise at the , 9525 Highland Rd. Cost is $18. For reservations, call 517-545-9370.
  • 7 p.m. Thursday the Hartland Optimist Club is hosting its 15th annual Youth Appreciation Awards Night at the Hartland Education Support Service Center.
  • 7 p.m. Thursday the Cromaine District Library Board will consider a new three-year lease for its — a move recommended by its finance committee — during its regular meeting at the in the village area, 3688 Hartland Rd. To review an agenda before the meeting, visit either branch.

  • 4 p.m. Thursday girls tennis vs. Brighton
  • 7 p.m. Thursday girls lacrosse vs. Huron Valley United
