Single-Lane Closure Planned for U.S. 23 Near Brighton
Northbound lanes affected Friday and Saturday with all lanes open timed to ease congestion from a University of Michigan football game.
A single-lane closure on northbound U.S. 23 north of Silver Lake Road will affect traffic in the Brighton area starting 8 p.m. Friday, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
The closure will be in place until 10 a.m. Saturday and restart 11 p.m. Saturday and last until 10 a.m. Sunday. The 13-hour gap was created to help will traffic stemming from the noon game Saturday at the University of Michigan, an email from MDOT said.
