Hartland Eagles Fall Short in Season Opener, 28-10

The varsity football traveled to Ann Arbor Thursday evening to face the Skyline Eagles.

Hartland scored in the first quarter on a 50-yard field goal by Kyle Seychel, but big plays by Skyline helped them take a 21-3 lead into half-time, according to the team's website. Trevor Sudbay cut the lead to 21-10 after scoring in the third quarter, but Skyline responded with another TD to put the game out of reach, 28-10.

The next football game for the varsity Eagles is a home game on Friday, Sept. 6 at 7 p.m.
