Local Students Show Us How Words Are Important

A Hartland High School composition class shows the importance of communication through a movie created in honor of MLK Day.

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr., students at  began their day last Thursday, with a movie created by Trista Erickson's A.P. composition class.

Focused around the school's chosen theme of communication, to help celebrate King's legacy, the movie talks about the importance of communication and how a single man used his words to help change a nation.

Through a series of clips and interspersed with King's "I Have A Dream Speech," the movie shows its audience that every form of communication, from body language to words, are important and to use their power wisely.
