The Hartland School District canceled classes on Monday, citing inclement weather and poor road conditions.
School officials have said previously that the driveability of country roads as well as in subdivisions and neighborhoods are key factors in whether to close the district following a snow storm.
Message from Hartland Consolidated Schools website:
Due to inclement weather and poor road conditions, we have decided it necessary to cancel school for today, MONDAY, February 11, 2013. Hartland Pre-School and Community Education activities are all cancelled for today as well, however, the Hartland Child Care Center is open and the Board of Education Meeting will occur at 6:30 p.m. tonight as well.
