The Hartland Area Chamber of Commerce has one $1,000.00 scholarship available to a high school senior - preference will be given to those majoring in business. Each year the HACC presents a scholarship to a high school senior that resides in the Hartland Consolidated School District, (public, private, charter, and/or home school), that demonstrates the kind of character and qualities the Chamber seeks to propagate in our community. In selecting the winner, the Chamber looks for an individual who demonstrates leadership, has been a good student throughout his or her academic career, and who places a value on community service and personal growth. To be considered for the scholarship, students must submit an application, available through the Hartland High School counseling office and online at hartlandchamber.org, and write an essay. The scholarship winner is selected by a committee comprised of area business professionals. The scholarship is awarded at Hartland High School’s Senior Honor’s Night, if a Hartland High School student is selected, or at a Chamber luncheon if the winner is selected from one of the other schooling categories.
