Seniors Rip Through Juniors for Another Powderpuff Victory

Hartland seniors kept the tradition of a senior victory alive with a final score of 14-7.

With only a few minor cuts and bruises, the senior girls came out victorious over their junior classmates in the annual powderpuff game at Hartland High School last night.

In what seemed a "flag optional" game, most of the girls chose to play the game as it was meant to be played - physically with bone-rattling tackles and full body blocking on the game field.

It was an intense game with the girls of Hartland showing their athletic skills on the field with long passes, fast running and good defense on both sides.

Stand out performances for the juniors included plays from Lindsay Pajot and Ivey Gardner while the seniors were led by Sarah Tomlinson and Rachel Washburn.

With colorful commentary from the announcers and animated coaching, the seniors were able to score two exciting touchdowns and kept the tradition of another senior victory secure for another year.
