Boys Basketball Build Snow Figure to Support Girls Team
The Sunday afternoon effort also includes a snowball fight.
In order to succeed as a team, in a team sport, it takes trust and chemistry … and maybe some fun in the snow.
The Hartland High School boys basketball team built a snow figure to support the girls basketball team in its 7 p.m. game against Walled Lake Northern in the first round of the playoffs that anyone driving down Dunham Road past could see Sunday.

"I wanted to have a football game, but I didn't want anyone to get hurt," head coach Frank Leppek said. "So we made a snowman to support the girls. The boys still had to have a snowball fight."
The boys kick-off their playoff run on March 7.
