Hartland Falls to Stevenson in Hockey State Championship

The Eagles lost 5-4 in the Division 2 finals.

Hartland High School lost its bid for a first Division 2 state title in hockey Saturday morning when they were defeated by Livonia Stevenson.

The Eagles lost the game, 5-4.

Chris McRae scored twice for Hartland. Austin Flores and Ned O'Boyle also scored for the Eagles.

Hartland beat Port Huron Northern in the semifinals, West Bloomfield in the quarterfinals, and Walled Lake Northern in the regional final to advance to the finals.
