Hartland U11 Soccer Team Goes Undefeated

The Hartland United U11 rec travel team finished their season with a perfect 8-0 record.

Here at Patch, we love to regularly spotlight young people in the Hartland community who are successful, talented and just plain awesome.

But we need your help. We know those kids are out there doing great things for and in the community, so let us know about them so we can help spread the word.

Today we feature the Hartland United U11 rec travel team who finished their season with a perfect 8-0 record.

  • Introduction: The team includes: Hunter Basnec, John Chase, Cole Corby, Logan Dawson, Cole Frechette, Adam Kahl, Jacob Kazyak, Josh Kazyak, Steven Majors, Maxwell McPherson, Nicholas Olinzock, Nicholas Schafer, Ben Schaller and Ryan Twomley.
  • Achievement: The Hartland United U11 rec travel team finished with a hard fought and well-earned 8-0 record, giving themselves an undefeated season.
  • Keys to awesomeness: With an impressive 49 goals scored and only 18 goals against, the young Hartland team's record proves that not only were they a strong offensive team who capitalized on scoring opportunities, but they were also a tough defensive team who shut down their opponents chances during games. With an early season goal for a perfect record, the 14 players proved what hard work, dedication and team work can produce.
Do you know a local young person who deserves applause because he or she shovels the elderly neighbors' driveway? Or perhaps athletic achievements are worth sharing. Everyone deserves attention, and we want to tell these stories. Email nominations to local editor Tatum Ryan at tatum.ryan@patch.com, provide the information shown above and include a photo with names and ages.
