Hartland Pool Will Re-Open July 23

Summer swim lessons scheduled to begin on July 23 will be reinstated.

It's already been a long, hot summer, and many Hartland residents might have missed the relief of the community pool, which has been closed since the beginning of June.

The  closed for maintenance on June 4 and was originally scheduled to open back up July 9.

The re-open date was pushed back, however, due to permit issues, according to Community Education director Michelle Otis. The delayed opening meant that many summer programs, including swim lessons had to be canceled.

Relief is in sight, however, since according to Otis, the aquatic center will open it's doors on July 23.

Swim classes that were scheduled to begin July 23 will be reinstated, according to Otis, and will run for two weeks through the end of the month.
