Talk About Town: Have Fireworks Become a Nuisance in Your Hartland Neighborhood?
With the new fireworks laws in place, more items, previous not allowed, are being sold in the state. Are fireworks a problem in your neighborhood?
As the Fourth of July creeps closer, more and more weekend nights are filled with the booms of fireworks.
For the first time, several new fireworks are available to residents - fireworks that were previously not allowed in the state. These fireworks include mines and shells, which are louder and larger than most.
Hartland Patch recently reported on a selling fireworks in Hartland. A poll attached to the story shows an equal divide in people either being happy or not so happy when it comes to being able to now legally purchase fireworks locally.

Patch reader with the user name "NotLazy" commented on Wednesday's story saying that the new law was poorly written and that there were people letting off fireworks at all hours of the night.
Patch reader Angela, however, wrote:

"If I wanted to live in a community that didn't allow fireworks, I'd move there. I think it's great people can have a spot of traditional fun in their own backyards," she wrote.
So Hartland Patch wants to know:
Have the sound and frequency of fireworks become a nuisance? Should there be an ordinance restricting when fireworks should be used, or do you trust your neighbors to use good judgement?
