Update On Abby Fountaine

Team Callan is pleased to share with you an update on Abby Fountaine.  We heard directly from Tammy while she was at U of M with Abby as she was starting Cycle 9 Chemo.  Tammy conveyed to Team Callan how it felt as if it were yesterday that Abby was starting Cycle 1!  Cycle 9 lasts 4 days with IV fluids at home every night, which makes for a long week.  However, the family realizes it is just one step closer to Cycle 10.  In the past 3 weeks Abby’s counts have come up to where they are supposed to be and just one platelet and blood transfusion were required after her most recent round of chemo.  Along with this great news, Abby’s kidney test came back with good results, similar to her last reading.  Considering Abby only has one kidney, this is amazing news! Tammy reports that Abby is doing well, fighting hard, but getting a bit tired.  Abby and her family appreciate the love and support, and hope that you will all continue to pray for a smooth week and recovery.
