Team Kendal Kidz Ready to Rock Second Annual Concert

Tickets are still available for the Saturday show which takes place at the Royal Oak Music Theater.

The second annual benefiting Team Kendal Kidz takes place this Saturday at the Royal Oak Music Theater.

The charity, started in honor of who lost her battle with cancer in 2011, is "dedicated to giving kids smiles for today and hope for tomorrow."

"This year's event will be hosted by Gynp from 93.9 The River," Kendal's mom, Heather, said in an email to Hartland Patch. "All proceeds will benefit Special Days Camp, a camp for children with cancer and their siblings and also Children's Cancer Research Fund, because a cure is what these kids really need."

The family-friendly concert is open to all ages, although Heather Lividini says they recommend that children be at least 10 years old due to the concert environment. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show will feature QUIETDRIVE with special guests Seven Letters and See Jane Rock.

VIP tickets are $52 and include a private balcony seating with hors d' oeuvres. General admission is $27.

Tickets are still available and can be purchased through the Team Kendal Kidz website until Friday evening or at the door. All tickets purchased through Team Kendal Kidz will be held at the will-call window at the Royal Oak Music Theatre.

"Can't make the concert but you would still like to help," Lividini wrote. "Purchase our Tickets for Kindness in our shop. These tickets will be given to pediatric cancer patients and their families for a fun night out."
