Holiday Shopping Fair Plus More Tips for the Week Ahead

Here are four tips to help fuel your week in Hartland.

It's Monday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Hartland to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Save the date

My Stronger Self is hosting a shopping Fair open to the public on Thursday December 12 from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Tables are only $25 for members or $35 for non-members. Each table is also required to donate one item for door prizes which will be given out to attendees all evening long.

2. At the library
Make gifts that you can give away for the holidays. For grades 7 through 12. Register at www.cromaine.org and meet us at Cromaine Library in the Village.

3. Where to donate
Help Team Callan make sure the children in our local community have toys under their tree Christmas morning. Help reach their goal and fill the box by December 20. Just in time to load them on Santa's Sleigh to be delivered to local children who may otherwise go without on Christmas morning. Toys may be dropped off at RE/MAX Platinum Hartland Team Callan at 11500 Highland Rd. in Hartland.

4. Buy|Sell|Trade
Warm and cuddly hand crocheted afghans, shawls and baby blankets make great gifts.  I make each item individually in my own home.  Every one a treasure made to last.  To see these and other items go to www.etsy.com/shop/yarnqueens
