Summer Music Series at Cromaine Plus More Tips for the Week Ahead

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your week in Hartland.

It's Monday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Hartland to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Summertime fun

Join Cromaine Library for The Duo Project performing jazz/folk (sax and guitar) out on the South Lawn on Wednesday night. Bring your picnic or pick up some brats and dogs from partners Ranger's 4-H and free, fresh popcorn. Rain or shine, drop-in. No library card needed to attend.

2. In case you missed it
Join Township Supervisor Bill Fountain and Public Works Director Bob West on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Kahuna Coffee to discuss Phase II of Settlers Park, the 100+ acre park being developed to connect M-59, Township Hall and Dunham Road. This is an informal event encouraging discussion and input.

3. For your information
Wendy Day is looking to head to Lansing as the next State Representative for the 47th District House Seat.   She is an conservative activist and military wife who believes, “Michigan citizens, rather than Washington DC, know what is best for their families and businesses.” (Read more here.)

4. Meeting information
The Board of Education meeting scheduled on June 24, has been changed to Wednesday, June 26 at 6:30 pm.

5. For the kids
