Annie's Ghosts Series Plus More Tips for the Week Ahead

Here are five tips to help fuel your week in Hartland.

1. At the library

Local historian and researcher, Tiffany Dziurman, shares the story of The Haven, an asylum in the Rochester, Michigan area purported to be the asylum of the stars at one time. Register online at www.cromaine.org and meet us at Cromaine Library in the Village. 

2. Save the date

AMEN (A Mom’s Escape Night) is being offered by Fellowship Bible Church on Friday November 8, 2013 from 6:30 p.m. - 11 p.m. for infants and children through 12 years of age. For more information and details on how to reserve your free childcare, call 810-632-7263.

3. Veterans Day

  • Veterans Program
A Veterans Program will be held on Thursday, November 7. Program begins at 7 p.m. at the Howell Carnegie District Library.

4. In the community
Completed artificial wreaths can be dropped off at LCAS on Tuesday, November 5 after 10 a.m. The wreaths will be photographed and posted on here on the web site to review and bid on.

  • Humane Society of Livingston County Selected as Outstanding Limited Admission Shelter by Michigan Pet Fund Alliance 
For the second time in three years, the Humane Society of Livingston County was recently honored as an Outstanding Limited Admission Shelter by the Michigan Pet Fund Alliance (MPFA). In 2012, the shelter saved 91.30 percent of the animals it took in and adopted out 1,133 animals.
