Chillin' at the Mill And More This Weekend

Patch is here to make your life ridiculously easy, so as you sit down today and plan your weekend, here are some events you should know about in the Hartland area.

1. Chillin' at the Mill

  • When: Jan. 25
  • Where: Hudson Mills Metropark
  • What: Enjoy a variety of winter activities including snow shoeing, Klondike racing, and dog sledding demos. The cost is $3 per person or $7.50 per person including hot dog, drink and chips. Tickets are sold in advance, contact the Hudson Mills Metropark Office at 734-426-8211.
2. Hero Party
  • When: Jan. 24 at 10 a.m.
  • Where: Cromaine Library
  • What: Get ready for the Lego Movie, find out what Hero you are. For grades 1 and up. Register online at www.cromaine.org and meet at Cromaine Library in the Village.
3. BULLIED: A Student, A School, and a Case that Made History
  • When: Jan. 25 at 7 p.m.
  • Where:  3333 S. Old US 23, Brighton, just north of Hilton Rd. 
  • What: Livingston County PFLAG, a support group for the LGBTQ Community and their families, and Community Unitarian Universalists in Brighton are 
    hosting a movie night.
4. Food Pantry-Clothing Pantry-Hot Breakfast at Bountiful Harvest
  • When: Jan. 25 at 8 a.m.
  • Where: St. George Lutheran Church
  • What: Bountiful Harvest offers a free hot breakfast, food pantry and clothing pantry every Saturday morning from 8am until noon. Located in the lower level of the St. George Lutheran Church corner of Fourth Street and Main Street in Brighton. This is an ongoing event.  Anyone in need of food, clothes and/or a hot breakfast is welcome.
