Balloonfest and More this Weekend

1. Michigan Challenge Balloonfest

  • When: June 28, 29 and 30
  • Where: Howell High School
  • What: The Michigan Challenge Balloonfest is a community and family event. Don't forget to check out what's new this year... events for the whole family planned.

2. Buddhism Culture, Education & Peace at Cromaine Library

  • When: Saturday, June 29 at 10 a.m.
  • Where: Cromaine Library- Village location
  • What: Discover how actively Buddhists practice and work for peace through cultural activities. Listen to and participate in Korean drumming, music, and other peacemaking activities. Drop in; no library card needed to attend.

3. Rec 101: Intro to Astronomy

  • When: Friday, June 28 at 9 p.m.
  • Where: Brighton State Recreation Area
  • What: Join us for an evening of star-gazing, planet identification, and constellation-finding at this special event sponsored by the University Lowbrow Astronomers Club.
