I've tried this place a few times and tried to give it a fair chance, but every time I've been there I have found the food bland and the service lacking. I'm sorry to say that last night was no different. I really wanted to like this place, but to me, Los Tres Amigos in Howell is far superior, with better prices.

Loved the food at the old place. Not so much here. Hopefully the waitresses will learn that when a group of women come in, they need separate checks. Telling the to "figure it out" just isn't good enough.
We love Mexican Fiesta, the food is good and prices are reasonable. We've been there at least 5 times since they've been open and have turned alot of friends onto this place as well. I give it 5 stars!
I have only been there once, I'm going again tonight, but the food was good and the service was fine. I sat in the bar area. The chips were just cooked and the salsa was good but not nearly spicy enough. I ordered my food "calente" and it was fairly spicy and flavorful. A good sized portion was served.
It was way better than the hat place on the other side of US 23 behind Micky D's which has nice chairs but tasteless food and it is even more expensive. Does anyone out there remember when Mexican food was the cheapest thing you could eat, not anymore! I tried it twice and it didn't get any better.
I think Los Tres Amigos in Howell is a better choice, try the Mocahete (translation=stone bowl) there its my favorite Mexican dish in this neck of the woods. We jokingly say the one somewhat tough cut of beef is Chihuahua. They don't seem to think that is very funny.
Very disappointed the food was bland and the service was slow and and when we did get our order the it was not what we ordered.
As for the new "Fiesta" location, I have to say we've been a bit disappointed. We are long time fans of the Canton location and love the food, but have found the service at the new location is lacking. We have been twice and had very slow waitresses. We've even wondered if they hired all new people who have never waited tables before. Aside from that, the food still tastes great! The waitresses just need more experience!

I work at a local Hartland business. A lot of the staff used to go to "Mexican Fiesta" when it was in the Kroger shopping strip. The staff was always helpful and accomodating. The staff purchased carryout dinners and lunch specials. The lunch specials used to be $5-$7.00 and included a drink. At the new location, the prices went up and it does not include a drink. We called to place a carryout order for a lunch special (that we had got at least 10 times previously.) The person on the phone was very rude, and insisted that they never had that special! They also told us that they were "out of chicken" at 12:00 Noon! When you go inside the restaurant to place an order, the staff is slow and clueless as to how to deal with customers. You've lost a few customers! We will be going to La Hurradura all the time now!
