My husbandd and I come here quite often because the food is good and the restaurant is close to home. However, the last few times we have gone the service has been horrible! We sat on the bar side, and waited for almost 5 min. before we were even acknowledged. It was a Monday evening (Not busy). After finally getting the attention of a waitress, she came over and took our drink order. We again waited for 5 min. for our draft beer, that we watched sit on the bar for that whole time. I was actually tempted to just go up myself and grab it, but finally our waitress stopped chatting with one of her "friends" and brought it to us. My husband than proceeded to order when right in the middle of speaking she interupted him by engaging in a conversation with another friend who walked past about there plans after she got out from work. This went on for a few minutes when she said "oh, sorry about that, now what do you want?" We were appalled! This place is never very busy, and I'm beginning to think it has something to so with teh staff, because teh food is delicious. Better shape up Grille 23, you'll be losing what little business you have to the "new" bar and grill in town.

I love the service! The waitresses are amazing and the owner seems like a family man. He really has done an amazing job bringing his business to my top 5 favorite restaurants...:D

We have eaten here many times. It is rarely busy (is this a good thing?), so we get fast, personable service. The food and staff are really good, too. We definitely have this on our list of Hartland restaurants.
