Owned by the Hartland School District, this park is named in honor of the late Don Epley, who was known as “Mr.More Hartland” for his decades-long involvement with the fire department, Boy Scouts, Hartland Community Council and the Hartland United Methodist Church. The park—formally known as Don Epley Community Park—includes a playground, picnic pavilion and a wooden platform called the “Eagle Outlook” that provides a view of a wild marshy area.
