Opened in 2003, Hartland High School has been called the “flagship” for the entire district. Sitting as partMore of a 200-acre site that includes Hartland Middle School and Creekside Elementary, the 400,000-square-foot building features an elevated indoor track, two gyms, a 500-seat auditorium and an Aquatic and Fitness Center that's open to the public. The $60-million facility also includes tennis courts and football, soccer, baseball and softball fields. Its principal is Chuck Hughes.

The Hartland Child Care Center offers day care, pre-school and before- and after-school programs. It specializes inMore infant care by accepting babies as young as two and half weeks old. It also is open 12 months a year and isn't linked to school closures for  inclement weather. The building, also called the "51 Building" after the year it was completed, has been a district elementary and high school. The day care program has been in place for about 25 years.
